About the Project

John Eaton Elementary School and its diverse community of life-long learners embody academic tenacity, compassion, and global citizenship. Their purpose is to provide each Eaton student with a well-rounded, 21st-century education that prepares him or her, regardless of background or circumstance, for success in and beyond elementary school.

2021, the school underwent modernization efforts. We were commissioned to create a unique and dynamic work for their stairwell that celebrated the ethos of the John Eaton Elementary learning community.

Discovering that the school had a very diverse population of students with various cultural backgrounds, we created a motif of shapes and colors found in flags all over the world. We’re Better Together, celebrates the many cultures of John Eaton that make one community.
