The College Foundation of North Carolina (CFNC) needed a rebrand and digital transformation to better engage students and simplify the financial aid process. The objective was to create an accessible, user-friendly platform that would help students take actionable steps toward their educational goals and make vital resources easily accessible for students, families, teachers, and counselors.
Our Process & Production
To ensure the new platform met the needs of its diverse users, we gathered insights from students, families, educators, and counselors. Based on their feedback, we redesigned the user experience to prioritize streamlined navigation and mobile accessibility. The rebrand introduced a fresh, modern visual identity with an approachable interface, while the NC FAFSA Hub was optimized for consistent, on-the-go use across all devices.
For the launch, a strategic social media campaign targeted students and educators, raising FAFSA awareness and encouraging timely submissions. This approach made CFNC’s mission clear and accessible, aligning its online presence with the needs of its users and providing a comprehensive digital experience.
Our Results
The rebrand and digital overhaul led to a 40% increase in FAFSA submissions through CFNC’s platform, along with a 25% increase in time spent on the site. Feedback from users reflected higher satisfaction with the ease of navigation and accessibility. Social media campaigns significantly boosted engagement, driving timely FAFSA submissions and enhancing CFNC’s presence as a trusted resource in financial aid guidance.
